Event project management requires very significant experience and expertise with hospitality and events, together with high-level management and organisation skills. Major events with a requirement and demand for a significant hospitality programme such as the Sydney Olympics, America’s Cup, “clubnab” at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, and more recently the NZ Lions tour all required our project management skills and experience including:
  • Building entire venues – both permanent and temporary, obtaining of resource consents, structure design and layouts
  • Infrastructure – furniture, audio-visual, sound and lighting requirements ,installation of power, water and sanitation in temporary venues
  • Catering – liaison with and management of caterers to provide quality andservice within challenging environments and large numbers
  • Logistics – ensuring equipment and facilities are moved from one venue to another within a required timeframe
  • Entertainment – sourcing and managing suitable entertainment- speakers, MC’s, live bands etc
  • Transport management – the movement of people to and from events and venues, liaison with councils, police, stadia
